THE FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption THIS Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 2:00 PM with a talk on Divine Mercy by Mark Ferrel, S.F.O. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 3:00 PM + the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The celebration concludes with a healing service + a first class relic of St. Faustina at 4:00 PM. Music provided by Ambassadors of Praise.

The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal helps to provide the critical funding needed to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, counsel those in despair, offer job training to the unemployed, and make available medical care to those without health insurance. An informational seminar on INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION will be held at Catholic Charities, Inc., 56 Church Street, Waterbury, CT, 06702, Wednesday, April 2, 2008, 6:30 PM. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION will begin at 4 PM, Friday, April 4, and end at 4 PM Saturday, April 5, at Church of the Assumption. You are invited to spend an hour with our Lord during this time.

You are invited to attend a LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR at St. James Church Hall, Manchester. This Seminar runs for 8 consecutive Tuesday nights (7 PM) beginning April 8 through May 27. The eight sessions course includes prayer, song, talks and small group sharing.

The Catholic Cemeteries Association of the Archdiocese of Hartford for a limited time affords all Catholic families the opportunity to purchase pre-need graves with upright monument rights or shrine graves with interest-free installment payments up to 4 years at St. James and St. Bridget Cemeteries in Manchester, Holy Cross Cemetery in Glastonbury and St. Mary Cemetery in East Hartford.
