Teachers
BINGO Players Needed! Please

pm for a fun evening of Bingo. Although
Bingo does not begin until 6:30 pm, the doors open at 4:00pm, and the
kitchen at 5:00pm. Before the
game, you can try one of Bob’s famous burgers, or Romeo’s hot dogs.
In addition, coffee, tea, sundaes and cookies are also available.
Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors.
The proceeds are donated to the Assumption school and are used to
support Catholic Education. If
you have any questions, please contact Romeo Dube at 646-1326,
or R.Dube1@cox.net.
COFFEE...COFFEE – We are looking for one or two volunteers
to make the coffee for Tuesday night’s bingo.
It takes about ½ hour of your time.
It can be done anytime between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
It can be done before or after you pick up your children or
whatever time you feel is convenient.
If you know someone who would team up with you, rotating weeks
would be great. Please call
the school office 649-0889 if you would like to take on this bingo
project. This also counts
toward your volunteer hours.
Thank You Very Much! I
would like to express my sincere thanks to Kathy Pavan, the chairperson
for the auction & wine tasting committee, and all the committee
members, for all the time and hard work they put into creating a very
successful evening. I believe
a great night of fun with family and friends was had by all who attended.
Special thanks to Debra Strigun and Marcia Jehnings for the hors
d’oeuvres and marvelous desserts!

Dental
Health Month – On Thursday,
April 11th Kevin H. Norige, D.M.D. is offering his services to
our students on dental health in a fun and interactive format.
He brings his friend “Roo” (a talking kangaroo), and
“George” (his friendly skull) and other information to help children
make the best dental health choices. He
will be providing two free presentations to our PreK and Kindergarten
classes and then Grades 1 & 2. We
are most grateful for his offer to work with our children.
I’m sure it will not only be very informative but also very
entertaining for our children.
Military
Cookie Update – The girl
scouts have been working diligently since February 15th in
selling cookies to meet their goal of $1,542 boxes of cookies for the
military. They have just 53
more boxes to sell in order to meet their goal.
If anyone would like to help out and purchase more cookies please
call Kate Hohenthal @ 643-6336.
During
the cookie sale at Sam’s Club the girls received this following message
from a veteran: A man came up
to the Girl Scout cookie booth at Sam’s Club and handed in $40 for
cookies. He said when he had
been in
