…I am grateful to God who through Archbishop Mansell has led me to your parish.  In a sense, coming to Manchester is like coming home, as I grew up in this town.  I come to you with 30 years of experience as a priest and a teacher.  I come to you as a disciple of Jesus Christ, as a brother, and I come to you with an open mind and an open heart.  May all that we do together always be for the greater glory of God!
