Mr. Jim Dyber

     My name is Jim Dyber. I have taught at Assumption since 2002. My duties include teaching 6^th, 7^th and 8^th grade History.  I have always enjoyed the energy of middle school students. My experience includes teaching middle school students in New Britain, West Hartford and Berlin.  In the spring of 2002, I long term substituted at East Catholic High School where I taught 9^th & 10^th grade Western Civilization and World History.

          During my free time, I coach youth baseball and soccer in West Hartford recreational leagues. I am currently the President of the West Hartford Youth Baseball League.

          My wife, of 33 years, Beth, and I have two sons, Ken and Nick.  Ken is married and lives in Portland, Oregon and Nick currently serves in the U.S. Navy.
