Mrs. Mary Croce Fish, R.N.

Mrs. Mary Fish, RN is the
school nurse at Assumption School.
Mrs. Fish attended Catholic grammar school and high school in
Waterbury, CT. She graduated from the University of CT School of Nursing
with a BSN degree in 1979.
The
profession of nursing has given her the opportunity to provide patient
care in a variety of medical settings.
She has acute care experience in the areas of critical care,
medicine and oncology. From the hospital setting, she entered the field of community
health, working with Latino families for five years in the city of
Hartford. This position
provided her with the opportunity to increase her level of knowledge in
the areas of child and adolescent physical assessment, growth and
development, nutrition, mental health, and education.
She is pleased to be working with children again at Assumption
School.
Mrs. Fish is married and lives in Vernon with her husband and two
daughters. She enjoys
reading, quilting and gardening.
