Students will be required to write a book report every one to two months.  Various genre of books will be assigned (fiction, nonfiction, mystery, biography, etc.).   Reports will vary in content as well as complexity.  All book reports will be done in class.  Students are responsible for having the book read and brought into class on the due date, but all written work will be completed in class.

Dear Parents:

Your students did a wonderful job on their first book reports.  It's time to begin preparing for the second book report.  The students are to choose a nonfiction book on any topic that interests them.  The book must be at least 70 pages in length and must be submitted to me for approval by Tuesday, December 18.  Students must have the book read by Tuesday, January 8.  They must bring the book to class on January 8, so that we may begin writing the book reports in class that day.  Thank you for your help and support.
