I have been teaching at Assumption School
since 1986. When I
first started, Assumption School was a junior high school.
I have had the privilege of watching it grow into a full
school--Pre-K to Grade 8. I
taught Science, Reading and Health on the junior high level and then
taught fifth grade when we first introduced it at Assumption.
It is the most wonderful grade to teach!
I received a Bachelors degree in Biology
and Chemistry from Rivier College in Nashua, NH and just recently a
Masters degree in Education from St. Joseph College in Hartford, CT.
Teaching is not just a job for me; it is one of the greatest joys
I have in life. My other
joy is my beautiful family. My
husband, David, is retired, but loves to come to various school
activities to see my “babies” shine.
My daughter, Heather, lives in New York City and my son, Davey,
resides in Boston. Assumption
School is also a part of my family and a part of my heart.
